FAQ

  • Where can I register to sell?
    Registration opens 6-8 weeks before each sale. We will send out a text when registration is open. You can sign up for a text reminder here. We usually sell out our space. Registration is $18 and non-refundable.
  • What can I sell?
    We accept all children's boutique and designer clothing newborn - to juniors, women's clothing, shoes, accessories, baby gear, toys, books, home goods and more. If you can find a category in inventory entry you can include the item. Items MUST BE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION. Items must be CLEAN, free of rips, tears, stains, evident repairs. Zippers, buttons, snaps must be in working order. Shoes should be free of excessive wear.
  • What items are not acceptable to sell?
    We do not or any clothing with stains, missing buttons, broken zippers, etc. We do not accept carseats, booster seats, cribs, crib bumpers, bathtubs, changing tables or gliders. Please see our list of brands and items not accepted for a complete list.
  • Is there an item limit?
    Yes. You get 400 inventory numbers. You may bundle items in order to add more items to the sale. We also offer an additional 150 inventory numbers for restock. Those items are added to the site on the first day of public sales.
  • How are prices determined?
    Prices are set by the consignor. We suggest prices 20-35% OF the original retail price. Larger sizes tend to sell at the higher end and smaller sizes tend to sell on the lower end of this range. Put together outfits when possible as they will sell better than separates. Please check out our pricing guidelines for additional recommendations.
  • Do you offer VIP Tagging Services?
    Yes. Please email admin@growingcentsofstyle.com if you are interested in having us prep your items for sale. It is a 50/50 split and all items must be included in the 1/2 price sale. We offer porch pickup of your items within a 20 min radius of one of our tagging team members. We accept clothing and shoes for our tagging services. Items must be cleaned, sorted and checked against our brands not accepted list or they will be returned. We accept 200 items per seller for our VIP Tagging Services.
  • How do I get you my sold items?
    Registered consignors will sign up for a drop off appointment in your seller portal. We will have both day and evening drop off appointments for the week following the sale. Drop off appointments may not be during your Partner Shift. Please refer to the drop-off section of the Consignor Guidelines.
  • I am a new seller where can I get help?
    Once you register you will be contacted by our New Seller Mentor who can help you throughout the process. We also have a private Facebook Group and Instagram Group for our sellers where they can ask questions and get additional information.
  • When do I have to have all of my items entered?
    Inventory shut down in posted on the homepage of your seller portal. It is typically 48 hours prior to the start of the first presale.
  • How do I shop your event?
    We are open twice a year ONLINE for shopping. Typically in March and September. The site is open for one week to shop. Shopping on the site is free although we do have times where we are in "private mode" for our presales. Those events have both paid and free options. A code is needed to shop at those times.
  • How do i shop the presale?
    We have many early shopping opportunities. Presale information can be found on the presale tab.
  • Where is your store?
    We do not have a brick and mortar store. Shopping is all online and then we offer curbside pickup of your order at Canlan Sportsplex in Lake Barrington, IL the week after the sale runs online. We also offering shipping on clothing, shoes, accessories and select toys.
  • How to I get my purchases?
    Pick up appointments are scheduled after you make your purchase. We will combine multiple orders for one easy pickup. Links to make your appointment were sent in your confirmation email.
  • Do you take returns?
    When you pickup your order you may choose to inspect items prior to leaving. If an item is found to be DEFECTIVE you may make a return at that time. No other returns will be accepted.
